A place to reflect when life feels heavy

PsychPal is a self-help wellness tool for private reflection and grounding. It does not treat anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief or burnout — but it can be a useful place to slow down and put things into words.

Everyday anxious or overthinking moments

Anxious thoughts often arrive at inconvenient times — late at night, before a difficult conversation, in the middle of a busy day. PsychPal gives you a private place to put those thoughts into words and look at what might be underneath them.

Grounding and breathing tools are available when you need to settle a moment of overwhelm. These are self-help techniques — not clinical interventions.

Grief and caregiving reflection

Grief doesn't follow a schedule. It surfaces unexpectedly, and it can be hard to find the right person to talk to at the right moment. PsychPal is available any time you need a place to process what you're carrying.

Caregiving is exhausting in ways that are hard to articulate. Journaling and reflection can help you name what you're feeling and notice when you need more support.

Burnout and work pressure

Burnout builds gradually. PsychPal's mood tracking and journaling can help you notice patterns — when your energy is consistently low, when certain situations drain you more than others, when you're running on empty.

Noticing the pattern is the first step. PsychPal can help you put it into words and decide what to do next.

Low mood and feeling stuck

Sometimes it's hard to name what's wrong. PsychPal's AI companion can help you explore what's underneath a flat or stuck feeling — through reflection, not diagnosis. It draws on CBT- and DBT-informed approaches to help you look at thoughts and feelings from a different angle.

Grounding, breathing and reframing tools

PsychPal includes guided breathing exercises (such as 4-7-8 and box breathing), grounding techniques and cognitive reframing prompts. These are self-help tools designed to help you settle an anxious moment or shift perspective.

They are not clinical treatments and are not a substitute for professional care.

Journaling and patterns

Regular journaling and mood check-ins can help you notice what tends to shift your emotional state. Over time, patterns become visible — and visible patterns are easier to work with, whether on your own or with a professional.

Limits and professional support

PsychPal does not treat anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief or burnout. It does not diagnose conditions, assess severity or create treatment plans. If your symptoms are significant, worsening or affecting your daily life, please speak with a qualified mental-health professional.

If you may be in immediate danger or need urgent help, call emergency services (911) or contact 988 — the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — in Canada or the United States.
