Veterans & First Responders
Private reflection for people who carry heavy days
PsychPal is a private AI wellness companion available any time. It is not a PTSD treatment, trauma therapy or crisis intervention — but it can be a useful place to reflect between human supports.
Why privacy and availability may matter
For many veterans, first responders and frontline workers, the barrier to seeking support is not willingness — it's access, timing and privacy. Appointments have waitlists. Talking to a colleague feels complicated. Reaching out at 2 a.m. isn't always an option.
PsychPal is available any time, does not require an appointment, and keeps your reflections private. It is not a replacement for professional support — but it can be a low-barrier place to start.
Text or voice reflection after a difficult day
After a difficult shift or a hard day, PsychPal gives you a place to put what happened into words — by typing or speaking. The AI companion responds with reflective questions, not judgment.
Voice recordings are transcribed and discarded. Only the text is retained. Your reflections are private and encrypted.
Journaling and appointment preparation
Use PsychPal to journal between appointments, track your mood over time and prepare notes for your next session with a counsellor, peer support worker or therapist. Arriving with organized thoughts can make professional sessions more productive.
Support Circle and trusted-person connection
Keep supportive photos and voice messages from people you trust inside PsychPal. Support Circle gives you access to familiar encouragement when you need it — without having to reach out in real time.
